Growing up in Iowa, my art is inspired by vibrant traditional barn quilts you will see across the midwest region. Barn quilts can be created to represent family heritage, community pride, restoration, history - the list goes on. Tappy Tile draws upon this as a creative outlet exploring color, shape, pattern and how the three interact to create meaningful, eye-catching artwork. The tiles come as Tappy original artworks, including custom commisions, and individual tiles / sq ft. upon request.
